Ronald L. Turner, PhD
Dr. Turner is a licensed clinical psychologist. His
practice focuses on adaptation and adjustment in
individuals living with head injury, stroke, persistent
pain and disability. He is currently Senior
Psychologist at Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation
Medicine - inpatient services. New York University
Hospitals Center in New York, NY.
Dr. Turner earned his doctorate in Clinical
Psychology from Hofstra University in 1990. He has
taught numerous courses on human development
and disability on the college and university levels.
Dr. Turner conducts research on disability, stress
and coping. He has consulted with the National
Center for Disability Services on issues related to
employment stability and disability. He was
consulting Psychologist at St. Peter's Hospital,
Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
